Dave Howard's DNA compared to Ashkenazi descendants in the 23andME.com database
Since about 50% of my DNA came from my father and he was of Ashkenazi descent one would expect mine to be about 50% Ashkenazi. It is. My mother was not Jewish. Look at the X chromosome. No Jewish DNA.

Death record for child born to Abe and Molly Horwitz
Death record for child born to Abe and Molly Horwitz
This record came from Ancestry.com This child was Milton Horwitz' twin and passed away shortly after being born as did his mother. The given name is Abe however it is very unlikely that an Ashkenazi Jewish family would have a son named after his father if the father were still living.
