The South West quarter, of the North West quarter of Section Twenty in Township Fourteen North of Range Three East in the District of Lands subject to sale at Indianapolis, Indiana containing Forty Acres,
according to the official plat of the survey of the said Lands, returned to the General Land Office by the SURVEYOR GENERAL, which said tract has been purchased by the said John Moore. . . .

| John O Moore (1847-1911) obituary 19 Aug 1911 Indianapolis IN Star, p. 3: "OBITUARY. Word has been received from Albuquerque, NM, annoucing the death of John O. Moore, 67 years old, for many years a lawyer in Indianapolis. Mr. Moore died from paralysis. He went to New Mexico about eight years ago on account of failing health and never returned to Indianapolis for a visit, although he always considered this city his home. He practiced law in Indiana courts for about twenty-five years.
He is survived by one son, Harry R. Moore of Milwaukee WI; two brothers, Richison Moore and Joseph A. Moore, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Bloomer, Miss Hannah Moore, all of Indianapolis IN; Mrs. Belle Yoke of Acton IN and Mrs. I.M. Moore of Duarte CA. . . ." |
