moneys to be taken from the See of Durham and to be sent to the King. -Because the King
needs large funds for the Royal expenses it is ordered that while the See of Durham is vacant
and in the King's hand Thomas de Penros should cause to be taken as quickly as he can all
moneys from the issues and income of the aforesaid See, and cause them to come to the King
delivering them into the King's wardrobe. And when he has delivered them there, the King
will cause allowance to be made to master John Maunsell, guardian of the aforesaid See.)
