located at the intersection of the Petersburg-Warsaw and the Moscow-Windau
railroad lines. Because the town has a river, lake and is very green, some
residents of St. Petersburg visit during the summer months and stay in their
country homes (dachas).

river and the smaller Soltan and Bezymyanyy rivers are at the center of the
city.
