William and Hannah Jane and their son John emigrated 22 April 1855 on the ship "Curling"
with the Israel Barlow Company then joined the Capt. C H Harper Company arriving in Salt Lake
29 Oct 1855, the 6th company that season. A daughter Mary Ann was born while thet were on
their journey 30 Aug 1855 but died just three weeks before th end of their journey and was buried
in an unmarked grave 8 Oct 1855 along the way..
