Addie was unable to obtain a copy of the death certificate of Robert's first wife, Sadie Wilkins, but recalled seeing "the funeral as it passed on the street" and recently visited the tombstone in Round Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Marion, IN, in order to copy the date of death.
The body of Addie Davenport's pension application was probably written by a clerk in her lawyer's office; she then signed the application. |
